Assessment and Testing Center

Welcome to Lewis and Clark Community College’s Assessment and Testing Center! Our goal is to provide quality customer service, up-to-date technology, and premium accessible testing facilities for the L&C district, faculty, staff, and students.

We offer a variety of testing services, from proctoring L&C exams to conducting specialized certification testing. Please contact us or visit the links on this page for more information.

Policies

  • All students should schedule an appointment in advance for testing. If needed, walk-in testing is available (see times below).
  • All testing ends 15 minutes prior to closing.
  • Students can email testingcenter@lc.edu or call (618) 468-5232 to schedule an appointment.
  • Students must have the course prefix/number, instructor’s name, and name of the test (contact the instructor for this information) when scheduling their appointment via email or phone.
  • Students are responsible for contacting their instructors, so the Proctored Test Instructions (PTI) and any necessary testing materials can be sent to the Assessment and Testing Center or other L&C testing locations.
  • Anybody visiting the Assessment and Testing Center should read and follow all signage.
  • A Photo ID is required for all testing.
  • Food and beverages are not permitted in the Assessment and Testing Center.
  • Only bring what is necessary for testing. Lockers will not be available.
  • Talking is not allowed in the testing room.
  • Testing must be completed in one sitting unless otherwise noted by an instructor.
  • Acts of dishonesty are subject to disciplinary action.
  • The Assessment and Testing Center is under video surveillance at all times.
  • Children are not permitted in the Assessment and Testing Center.
  • A $20 proctoring fee (payable by cash or check) per sitting is required for all third-party proctoring such as CLEP, DSST and Certiport testing.

Testing Accommodations

Any student may request noise-reducing headphones to block out noise distractions or to use an upright computer. Students with documented disabilities will need to contact The   Center for Access and Accommodations  to arrange further accommodations at (618) 468-4121 or   access@lc.edu.
