The Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), guarantees that our general education credits will be accepted at most Illinois colleges and universities. Not only that, L&C also has a growing number of transfer and 2+2 agreements with many in-state and out-of-state institutions to make sure our students have a smooth transition after their years here.
Transfer Degree Types
- Associate in Arts (AA) – The Associate in Arts (AA) degree is designed to complete the first two years of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. The AA degree includes the transferable General Education Core Curriculum and the lower-division major field core courses recommended by the Illinois Articulation Initiative.
- Associate in Science (AS) – The Associate in Science (AS) degree is designed to complete the first two years of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
- Associate in Engineering Science (AES) – The Associate in Engineering Science (AS) degree is designed to complete the first two years of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering.
- Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) – The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree is designed to complete the first two years of a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
