Veteran Services and Financial Aid are here to help you navigate through the requirements to receive federal (VA & DoD) and state educational benefits: Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill), Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill), Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve), Chapter 35 (Survivors and Dependents’ Educational Assistance), Chapter 31 (Veterans Readiness and Employment (VR&E), Tuition Assistance for those on Active Duty, as well as the Illinois Veterans Grant, the Illinois National Guard Grant, and the Illinois MIA/POW Scholarship.

If you are currently enrolled and receiving Montgomery GI Bill benefits, Chapter 30 or Chapter 1606, certify your monthly enrollment online through W.A.V.E. at https://www.gibill.va.gov/wave/login.do.

Scholarships
The Association of Veterans Education Certifying Officials (AVECO) Scholarship offers opportunities for veterans, uniformed service members, and spouses of uniformed service members. Find the applications and requirements at https://lc.awardspring.com/.
Tuition Assistance for Service Members
Are you active duty service members, reserves, or national? Tuition Assistance will pay up to $250 per credit hour for 100% of tuition & fees for courses taken at Lewis and Clark Community College. Learn more in this Tuition Assistance Guide.
